NoodleLovesDoodle
Printmaker — London
About the Artist
NoodleLovesDoodle is a London-based printmaker who uses hand-cut stencils and spray paint on paper to reinterpret Japanese woodblock prints from the Edo period. Drawing from the rich visual tradition of Ukiyo-e masters like Hokusai, Utamaro, and Ohara Koson, each piece is a contemporary conversation with centuries-old imagery.
What sets her work apart is the use of UV-reactive paint — adding a hidden dimension that only reveals itself under black light. A quiet glow beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered.
To make her originals more accessible, she also produces risograph prints — each run limited, each print signed. Her love for spray painting and craft extends even further, into the creation of soy wax candles made from up-cycled beer cans.
