What is KABUKI?
Kabuki (歌舞伎, かぶき) is a classical form of Japanese theatre, mixing dramatic performance with traditional dance. Kabuki theatre is known for its heavily stylised performances, its glamorous, highly decorated costumes, and for the elaborate kumadori make-up worn by some of its performers.
In modern Japanese, the word is written with three characters: ka, signifying "song"; bu, "dance"; and ki, "skill."
Because of the handmade nature of the printmaking process, the print you order might be slightly different from the one in the picture. Small imperfections like ink stains, unprinted areas or colour variations make each one different from the others and therefore unique.
